Dementia Action Week

Kangaroo Point Bridge will be lit Blue to support Dementia Action WeekDementia is Australia's leading cause of death, but it's not talked about nearly enough. This Dementia Action Week, we're asking every Australian to help change that, one conversation at a time. An estimated 446,500 Australians live with dementia, and 1.7 million people are involved in their care. A national conversation about dementia is made up of thousands of smaller ones - in GP clinics, workplaces, community halls and family homes.Every conversation can tell someone it's safe to speak up, that they're not alone, and connects them to support they didn't know exists.
