Kangaroo Point Bridge will be lit Orange to celebrate Brisbane Portrait PrizeThe Brisbane Portrait Prize is all about celebrating Brisbane portrait artists and their sitters, while encouraging public engagement with the arts. It celebrates the city of Brisbane/Meeanjin and its people, telling the stories of the courageous, creative and passionate people who make up our city. Eligibility is open to any artist with a sitter, where both have a connection to Brisbane. The Brisbane Portrait Prize exhibition showcases the talent of Brisbane's artists and their ability to create connection. From the 19th of September at the slq Gallery, at the State Library of Queensland the public can explore this year's finalists.
