About
Our new community walking group is a relaxed, social way to explore Brisbane's beautiful parks and green spaces. Walking in a group is a safe and supportive way to explore bushland, especially for those who may be unfamiliar with the area or prefer not to walk alone. Along the way, you might pick up interesting facts about local flora, fauna, and history, while enjoying the many benefits of walking, from improved health, community connection, and time in nature. Requirements: Safety first! Please wear closed-in walking shoes, bring a water bottle, and dress in sun-protective clothing including a hat and sunscreen. Walks may include uneven terrain, uphill sections of the walk. Note: This walk may be cancelled if unsafe walking conditions arise on the day, including severe weather, extreme heat, or any other hazards that may impact participant safety.
