By lighting up Brisbane landmarks, NECA seeks to draw attention to the challenges faced by NET patients, Due to the vague symptoms mimicking other conditions 50% of patients are misdiagnosed, with 60% diagnosed at stage four (when the disease is no longer curable) This campaign aims to raise awareness to of NETs to encourage and enable early detection, so there is more chance of a cure and ultimately save lives.
