Victoria Bridge will be lit Purple to support Developmental Language Disorder Awareness DayDLD Day is Friday 16 October. The purpose of this awareness campaign is to increase public understanding of Developmental Language Disorder (DLD), a common but often hidden condition that affects a person's ability to understand and use spoken language. By lighting the Story Bridge, the campaign aims to visually highlight DLD, spark community conversation, reduce stigma, and promote inclusion. It seeks to educate families, educators, health professionals, and the wider community about the challenges faced by people with DLD and the importance of early identification and support. This Light Up is organised by: DLD Project Foundation
