About
Reddacliff Place sculptures will be lit Gold to support Childhood Cancer Awareness MonthSeptember is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. The initiative aims to raise awareness of childhood cancer and unite the community in support of children undergoing treatment, survivors, bereaved families and healthcare professionals. Gold is the internationally recognised colour for childhood cancer awareness and symbolises hope, courage and solidarity. This year's request is inspired by the experiences of Queensland families, including those who relocate to Brisbane for treatment, and the illumination of these landmarks will provide a visible show of support, honour children lost to cancer, highlight the importance of continued investment in childhood cancer research and ensure that no child or family facing childhood cancer feels alone. This Light Up is organised by: Kid's Cancer Project
