About this event

Come along for a special Bush Kindy celebrating Nature Book Week and make memories with your little ones as they take part in story-time and rhymes in the natural environment. Bush Kindy sessions can go for up to 45 minutes and themes vary each week. Bush Kindy sessions can go for up to 45 minutes and themes vary each week. Bush Kindy is for children aged 3-5 years, alongside their parents and carers. This session is presented in partnership with Brisbane City Council Libraries and First 5 Forever. First 5 Forever is an initiative of the Queensland Government, co-ordinated by the State Library of Queensland and delivered in partnership with local government. This activity is for the general public. If you are a daycare or vacation group interested in attending a similar activity please email Council. Requirements: Arrive minimum 10 minutes early to check in with staff at the centre. All children must be accompanied and directly supervised by an adult. Wear a hat, sun-safe clothing, fully enclosed walking shoes (no thongs or open shoes please), sunscreen, and bring insect repellent. Suitable old clothes recommended for messy play. Bring water and a snack if required, as there are no food outlets on site. Note: Outdoor events are subject to weather and environmental conditions and may be cancelled on the day.
